The manor house, with parts of its original interior from the late 18th century, offers a unique sense of history and hospitality.

The farm is home to Gutelamm, Hereford cows, Linderöd pigs, Hedemora hens and a large number of bees. The animals live outdoors all year round with access to sheltered pens, creating robust, healthy animals that in turn produce meat with naturally rich flavors. The slow breeding without shortcuts is reflected in every bite - it's all about genuine, unadulterated flavors that enhance the dining experience.

Meals are served with seasonal vegetables and herbs that are either grown on the farm or come from nearby producers. Each menu is adapted to what nature offers at the moment, ensuring both freshness and quality.

One of the most appreciated features is the self-produced apple must, made from apples from the farm's 21 different apple varieties. It is a fresh and tasty alternative that is just as good for lunch as for afternoon coffee.

A place with deep historical roots

Almare Stäket Manor has played a significant role in Swedish history. From being an important defense point in the 11th century, to housing archbishops during the Middle Ages, the place is rich in stories. Crown Prince Gustav III is said to have stayed here on his way to Denmark in the 18th century, and the manor has since developed into a stately manor.

During the 20th century, Herrgård also made its mark in equestrian sports. Carl Björnstjerna, one of Herrgård's former owners, participated in the Olympics in Amsterdam in 1928 and Los Angeles in 1932 and won team bronze in show jumping.
