History

Since the 14th century, the castle has served as a manor house, before being transformed into the current castle in the 18th century. Today, Södertuna Slott welcomes guests for various events - from productive conferences and romantic weekends to enchanting weddings. Every visitor can experience the deep historical spirit of the place.

The castle has undergone careful renovations to preserve its historical character while meeting modern needs. With conference facilities for groups from two to 140 people, Södertuna is a flexible and inspiring conference venue.

Awarded Castle Hotel of the Year in 2023 and in previous years, it demonstrates its exceptional standards and service. Conference participants can choose from 11 different conference rooms, beautifully located in the castle buildings and its neighboring wings, all equipped with modern conference technology.

For overnight accommodation, the castle offers 67 double rooms, with capacity for 134 guests. Some rooms are spacious enough for extra beds to accommodate larger groups.

Relax lounge

After a day of meetings, guests can relax in the Sjövillan's relaxation lounge, with a sauna, swimming pool and activities such as billiards and darts.

Dining room

The food at the castle is a central experience, where the kitchen creates menus based on seasonal ingredients, inspired by the southern nature. The castle's chefs work closely with local producers, with a strong focus on sustainability.
